This recall involves inflatable baby floats that were sold in a variety of styles, model numbers, and colours.
A date between "08/02" and "07/08" is moulded on the valves of recalled products. Products not included in the recall can be identified with the lettering "NP" moulded on the valve. Also not included in the recall are products with a hard plastic seat or no leg holes at all.
The recalled names and model numbers can be found on the product packaging. The following names and model numbers are included in this recall:

Hazard Identified
The leg straps in the seat of the float can tear, causing children to unexpectedly fall into or under the water, posing a risk of drowning.
Neither Aqua-Leisure Industries nor Health Canada have received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians as related to the use of these products.
Corrective Action
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled inflatable baby floats and contact Aqua-Leisure for instructions to receive a full refund.

Approximately 281,400 of the recalled products were sold at various retailers in Canada. Major retailers include Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Zellers, Samko, Toys 'R' Us, and Loblaws.
Time Period Sold
The recalled products were sold between 2003 and 2009.
